GREENE – Enid M. Mower, 83, a resident of Old Carriage Road, Greene, died Oct. 19, at the home of her daughter.
She was born July 27, 1924, in South Portland, the daughter of John and Emily Peterson Bryce. She attended school in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High.
On July 15, 1944 in Portland, she married Dwinald S. (Bucky) Mower, he passed away May 3, 1990. She was a homemaker and mom. She enjoyed reading and knitting and in her later years enjoyed watching TV.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Mower and his wife, Jean, of Greene and Dean Mower of Greene; a daughter, Ellen Albert and her husband, Michael, of Greene; two sisters, Dorothy Cotton of Orlando, Fla., and Louise Bryce of Greene; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bucky; a baby daughter, Judy; and sisters, Charlotte Chandler and Eleanor Leary.
