I recently read an article on about Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, remaining in the Senate. (Sept. 6)

I believe he should resign from his seat because he already pleaded guilty to the incident in the men’s room.

I also think Sen. Craig should resign because I don’t think Idaho would like a senator that takes back statements as serious as a guilty plea, just to hope none of it gets out into the public. I would think with today’s publicity, he would know it would get out sometime, and when it did, the worst thing he could say would be “I take back my guilty plea,” and “I’m not gay, but not that there is anything wrong with that.”

That’s not a senator I would like to have for my state.

I believe a solution for Sen. Craig’s problem is he should stay resigned, because Idaho shouldn’t have a senator that has legal issues or problems with choosing to be guilty or not guilty.
