LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Oct. 15 with 29 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces.

Members welcomed back Clemence Moreau. The sick list still includes Dora Slovak. Mary Groleau is still recuperating from cataract surgery.

Roger Brown attended and left cards regarding Humana Insurance for seniors who are interested. Shirley Couture announced that the special meal at SeniorsPlus will consist of baked ham, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, wheat bread, animal crackers and a scary dessert.

The 50-50 was won by Clemence Moreau and a towel set donated by Blanche Bilodeau was won by Edith Leblanc.
