FREEPORT – The Freeport Community Players will present a staged reading of “Dracula” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Freeport Community Center. Admission to the 8 p.m. program is free.

Directed by Tim Ryan, this adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel was first performed on the radio by Orson Welles’ Mercury Theatre of the Air. The evening will also include a reading from Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein.”

The community center is on Depot Street.
