Halloween party
WILTON – The Wilton Early Childhood Center is sponsoring a Halloween party for young children through the fourth grade at the Cushing School from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 27.
The Mt. Blue High School cheerleaders, under the guidance of Holly Gould, will help the youngsters with games and projects. The children are welcome to wear their costumes. Admission is $1 a child; adults are free. Hot dogs, cider and cupcakes will be available for a small fee. Proceeds will help fund the early childhood programs of the center. Everyone is welcome.
Country music
WILTON – Bing and Nancy Crosby, Emery Thompson and his band and others will perform country, bluegrass and gospel music at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Wilton United Methodist Church to benefit the Wilton food pantry. No admission, but donations will be accepted.
Cluster meeting
LIVERMORE FALLS – The Four Church Cluster will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Eaton Memorial Methodist Church. Anyone who attends Eaton, the Wilton United Methodist Church, the North Jay Methodist Church and the Livermore Methodist Church is invited to take part.
Craft fair
TEMPLE – The Temple Fire Auxiliary’s 27th annual Temple Craft Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Temple Town Hall. There will be numerous tables of hand crafted gifts, including homemade pies, breads. Lunches and snacks will be for sale to benefit the Temple Volunteer Fire Department.
