LEWISTON – Donna L. Jerry, 63. a resident of Intervale Road in Jay, died Monday, Oct. 22, at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
She was born on May 27, 1944, in Bath, the daughter of Winston and Elinor (Parker) Kinney. She was a 1962 graduate of Jay High School and also Bernard School of Hair Fashion. She worked as a hairdresser and certified nurse’s aid when she was living on Cape Cod, Mass.
In 1965, she married Jack Dubreuil with whom she had three children, a son, Daren and two daughters, Darci and Dawn. She later married Edwin Eldredge and had a daughter, Leigh. She married Ken Jerry in 1994, and together raised his son Kris. Her pride and joy were her six grandchildren, Melinda and Brianna Farrington, Mitchell and Parker Friedman and Benjamin and Cody Kinski.
She enjoyed knitting, quilting, sewing, crafts, NASCAR racing, watching the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins games. She formed a close bond and grew special friendships with her Pulmonary Rehab Group at CMMC.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Jerry of Jay; a son, Daren Dubreuil of Jay; three daughters, Darci Friedman of Newton, Mass., Dawn Kinski of Centerville, Mass., and Leigh Eldredge of Jay; and a step-son, Kris Jerry of Jay.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Parker Kinney this year; and a step-daughter, Brandi Jerry in 1994.
