Sheryl Capponi Briggs, candidate for House District 93 in the Nov. 6 special election, is a lifelong resident of the area, whose family roots run deep in the towns of Mexico, Dixfield, Peru, Canton and Carthage.

She will bring solid experience and knowledge of District 93 and its people to Augusta. She is a Mexico High School graduate who has chosen to live, work and raise her family here. Her work in the Mexico Town Office has familiarized her with the issues of property taxes, municipal government and general assistance, and her experience at the Oxford County Registry of Deeds has given her an understanding of the trends in property values and the functioning of county government. She will be a true voice for the people of her district, and will bring tremendous experience to the job of state representative.

On Election Day, I will be voting for Sheryl Briggs.
