“It’s disgusting. I wish it was cold,” said Kate Wason, 18, of Collegeville, Pa., of the abnormally warm temperatures on Monday. “I came to Maine for school because of the weather. Usually fall is cold and crisp. Fall is my favorite season.” Wason is a Bates College student.
