FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue Youth Competition Cheering (recreation teams) try-outs have been announced.

Tuesday, Oct. 30, 5 to 7 p.m., Mt. Blue Middle School, grades six to eight.

Saturday, Nov. 3, 9 to 11 a.m., Mt. Blue High School, grades six to eight; noon to 2 p.m., grades prekindergarten to six.

Monday, Nov. 5, 4 to 7 p.m., Mt. Blue High School, grades TBA.

If any boys need information they may pick it up at the office.

Yearend events for youth cheering will include:

Thursday, Nov. 1, 6 p.m., Elks Lodge, all teams to put on demonstrations for the Emblem Club.

Tuesday, Nov. 6, Mt. Blue High School Awards Night, 5 p.m., pizza party, teams and coaches; 6 p.m., awards in gym for parents and relatives.

Pictures will be scheduled by coaches, $8 for extra sets, to be paid for before or the night of pictures. Checks should be made out to Mt. Blue Youth Cheering or Farmington Emblem Club.
