LEWISTON – Pauline B. Dubois, 78, formerly of Oak Park, Lewiston, died Monday, Oct. 22, at d’Youville Pavilion with her family at her side.

She was born in Lewiston on July 20, 1929, a daughter to the late Alphonse and Rose (Lagasse) Lavoie. She married the love of her life, Walter Dubois, on Aug. 2, 1947, and together they raised their four children.

She worked for many years at Maine Electronics as an inspector. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Church.

She was very proud that when she was in her 50s, she earned her GED. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her family, especialy her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves a daughter, Diane Baily and her husband, Bruce; three sons, Bertrand Dubois and his wife, Louise, Roger and his wife, Pauline and Robert Dubois, all of Lewiston; a brother, Lionel Lavoie of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1996; a sister, Theresa Bisson; and three brothers, Rene, Marcel and Willie.

Pauline’s family would like to send a special thank you to the entire staff at d’Youville on 3 West and the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Pauline.
