FARMINGTON – Members and friends of Old South First Congregational Church, UCC of Farmington, are preparing for the annual harvest supper on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The benefit supper will offer homecooked roast turkey and ham, mashed potatoes, squash, onions, rolls, cranberry jelly, beverages, and homemade pies. The meal will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Old South Church on Main Street. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under age 12.

Proceeds will benefit the youth scholarship program, which provides church youths financial assistance to attend the Maine UCC Conference summer church camp, Pilgrim Lodge on Cobbosecontee Lake in Litchfield. Hundreds of youth have benefited over the years from scholarships made possible by the annual supper.
