NEW GLOUCESTER – Eastgate Christian School has awarded the Good Christian Citizenship Scholarship to a deserving student for the third year.

The student who receives the scholarship must excel by demonstrating a consistently positive attitude and being an encouragement to others, showing concern for others by treating them with respect and by being helpful, working hard, always striving to do his or her personal best, with a thankful heart.

The $500 tuition scholarship was awarded to fourth-grader Nathaniel Tillson for the 2007-2008 school year. He is the son of Ronald and Cynthia Tillson of East Poland.
