RUMFORD – Benjamin Wetherill will be visiting patients at Rumford Hospital through the fall and winter as part of his clinical pastoral education.
He is in the process of becoming a deacon in the Episcopal Church.
Entering law enforcement due to the influence of one college justice class, Wetherill has worked for the U.S. Border Patrol for 19 years. He is originally from Arizona and was with the border patrol there for the first nine years of his career. Wetherill is currently based in Rangeley.
“Hospital work is interesting because I’m learning about people and the things they deal with when they have a crisis in their lives,” Wetherill said.
