LEWISTON – Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will host a free presentation on the importance of estate planning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Turner Highlands Country Club.

The workshop is being presented by local attorney and AHCH board member Bryan Dench. He will answer questions about the personal and tax benefits of estate planning and ways to build a charitable giving legacy during a lifetime.

“We are pleased to be able to host this timely and informative workshop for the public,” said Laurie Winsor, AHCH development director. “With the many legal and tax changes that impact estate planning each year, it’s important to have the most up-to-date information. In addition, many people have questions on how to incorporate charitable giving priorities into this plan. We hope to answer these questions among others at this workshop.”

There is no cost to attend but preregistration is needed. To register, call the AHCH Development Department at 795-9428.
