FRYEBURG – Preston Jones and Jason Stefano each scored a pair of touchdowns as Fryeburg closed the regular season with a 32-0 shutout over rival Lake Region Saturday.

The Raiders (7-2) will make their first appearance ever in the Campbell Conference playoffs next Friday night when they travel to Rumford to face Mountain Valley. Lake Region closes the season at 2-7.

Jones opened the scoring in the first quarter with an 18-yard TD run, then connected with Stefano on a 28-yard TD pass to give Fryeburg a 12-0 lead. Jones added a two-yard TD run to make it 19-0 at the half.

Stefano tacked on a 17-yard TD run in the third quarter and Nick Bonner capped the scoring with a three-yard run in the fourth.

Jones rushed for over 150 yards and Sequoyah Reynoso chipped in with 60 yards on the ground as Fryeburg tallied 348 yards in total offense.
