Auburn – Michael J. Fortin, 51, of Loubier Street in Lewiston, died suddenly Friday, Oct. 26, while working.

Michael was born in Lewiston on April 13, 1956, the son of Roland Fortin and Marie Lagassie. He married the love of his life, Brenda Moreau, on Aug. 29, 1987. Michael has been working at Form Fiber Technology, formerly known as Gates, as a purchaser for many years. He has been attending The University of Maine and would be receiving his bachelor’s degree this May.

He leaves his wife of 20 years, Brenda Fortin and their son, Mathew, of Lewiston; his mother, Marie Lagasse and her husband, Earl, of Sabattus; godparents, Roger and Ludgarde Fortin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
