LEWISTON – Something’s cooking at the Lewiston Public Library: foods of the world cooked by kids in the Cooking Club from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday. September’s theme was “Foods Grown in Maine.”

The Cooking Club is facilitated by Denise Dill of Lots to Gardens, a nonprofit organization based in Lewiston, dedicated to sustainable urban agriculture to create access to fresh food and to nurture healthy youth and a healthy community.

The Cooking Club is open to all children from age 7 to 13. Openings are limited but can be reserved by calling Lots to Gardens at 755-3110.

October’s theme will be “Foods from the Middle East.”
