PORTLAND – Cheverus High School honored members of its student body at an undergraduate awards night. The following local students received awards:

Saint Joseph’s Book Award, Terrence O’Brien ’08 of Lisbon.

Sophomores who received bronze certificates, the highest grade point average in one class: Mark Dumond of Bowdoinham, History I; Daniel Dempsey of Gray, English, Scott Moody of Gray, Intro to Art.

Juniors who received bronze certificates: Bethany Potter of Auburn, History II Honors; Angela Fouquette of New Gloucester, Computer.

Seniors who received bronze certificates: Caroline Hansen of Topsham, AP U.S. History; Aaron Thomas of Topsham, Chemistry.

Juniors who received silver certificates, the highest grade point average for two classes: Christine Renaud of Lisbon Falls, French II Honors and Theology.

Seniors who received silver certificates: Heidi Lombard of Bridgton, U.S. History and Spanish III; Brenna Foley of Gray, Algebra II and Theology III Scripture.

Sophomores who received gold certificates, the highest grade point average in three or more classes: Anna Snook of Auburn, English, Spanish I, Intro to Physical Science, Theology I and World History I

Seniors who received gold certificates: Edward Snook of Auburn, English II, Precalculus Honors and U.S. History.
