AUBURN – YMCA Childcare Director Mary Jipson Perry was a workshop presenter at the recently held YMCA Expo – National Childcare Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
Jipson Perry presented a 90-minute program titled “Measuring Quality in Child Care” to hundreds of YMCA childcare providers from all over the country.
YMCAs collectively are the largest nonprofit childcare provider in the country.
Jipson Perry founded the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s program in 1990.
It now serves more than 300 children daily with two nationally accredited childcare centers.
The Daisy Garden site is located at 96 Campus Ave., Lewiston, where it provides childcare for employees of Sisters of Charity Health System, with some slots also available for the public.
The Auburn childcare facility is located at the YMCA at 62 Turner St.
