Hunters’ breakfast

RUMFORD – Rumford Grange 115 will hold a hunters’ breakfast open to the public from 5 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3., at $7.50 for hunters, 16 and under at $6, and seniors after 7 a.m., $6.

Turkey dinner

RUMFORD – Rumford Grange 115 will have a public turkey dinner with all the fixings from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4. Adults are $7 and children 12 and under are $3.50. Take outs will be available.

Legion meeting

RUMFORD – The Rumford American Legion and Auxiliary will meet on Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Post home on Congress Street. Lunch will be served at 5 p.m. with meetings to follow. Auxiliary members are reminded to bring donated items for the church kitchen. Members and guests are welcome to attend.

Benefit for family

DIXFIELD – There will be a benefit held at the Dixfield American Legion from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in honor of Mark and Julie Tubbs and girls. The family lost their home to a fire. Music, munchies, 50/50 raffles and more for a donation of $5.

Senior activities

RUMFORD – Rumford senior citizens are planning a craft fair.

To learn a craft, call Marie at 364-4700 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 9 a.m. and noon. Two instructors who will teach knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas, rug hooking and more.

The Nov. 7 shopping in Conway, N.H., trip has been canceled due to lack of interest. Events coming are Nov. 17: craft fair at the Senior Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed that evening starting at 5 p.m. by dinner and live entertainment.

Wednesday, Dec. 5 is the Christmas party. It will be held at the American Legion on Congress Street. The cost will be $9. Dinner will be at 11 a.m. with live entertainment, 50/50 raffle and door prizes.

Thursday, Dec. 6, the musical, “A Christmas Carol” will be seen for a cost is $25. The bus will leave at 4 p.m. from the center at 50 Congress St.

Bingo is every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. and cribbage is at the same time on Thursdays. For more information call 364-4700.
