Grange meeting

POLAND – Excelsior Grange 5, 446 Harris Hill Road, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the grange. During the business meeting, plans for the pre-Christmas Fair to be held on Nov. 24 will discussed.

Following the program presented by the Lecturer, refreshments will be served. All members and guests interested in joining the grange are invited.

Mass planned

LEWISTON – A Mass for deceased members of Queen Anne’s Guild of St. Joseph Parish and Rosary Sodality of St. Patrick’s Parish will be celebrated by the spiritual director, the Rev. Michael Seavey, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the St. Patrick’s Chapel. A short business meeting and refreshments will follow.

Legion agenda

LISBON FALLS – Nelson-Conley Post 66, American Legion, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Slovak Meeting Room, Avery Street. The agenda will include a report on the Iraq Christmas campaign and voting on new members. All members, prospective members and active-duty personnel are invited to attend.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 29 were: first, Martine Begert and Pete Cummings; second, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third/fourth tie, Rosemarie Goodwin and Charles Bartlett and Mary Leahey and Dick Allen; fifth, first in B, Judy Abromson and Anita Perrier; second/third tie in B, Catherine and John Erdman and Roger Briggs and Roger Labbe.
