LEWISTON – Gary A. Bellegarde has been promoted to vice president at the TD Banknorth branch at 790 Lisbon St. As the business development and sales manager, he will continue to manage the 9-person staff, and generate small business loans, consumer loans and deposit accounts.
Bellegarde joined TD Banknorth in 2004, and has more than 12 years of combined experience in banking, mortgage and finance. He previously served as branch manager of another banking company. Bellegarde is a member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.
Bellegarde is a volunteer coordinator for the United Way of Androscoggin County and participates in fundraising activities for TD Banknorth. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Maine in Portland. An Auburn native, Bellegarde is a 1989 graduate of Edward Little High School. He lives in Turner with his wife and daughter.
Bethel plans business exhibit
BETHEL – The Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce’s membership relations committee, in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Bethel and Telstar’s chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America, announce an upcoming business showcase.
The event will take place Nov. 9 in the gymnasium of Telstar Regional High School. Nearly 50 business and local non-profits are expected to have a presence.
From 2:30-5 p.m., anyone who owns or operates a business in area is invited to attend the business portion of the event. This is an opportunity to get to know one another and understand and appreciate the scope of products and services offered in the area.
At 5 p.m., the show will open up to the public. Exhibitors will offer information on their businesses, offer show give-aways and encourage the people to do business locally. There will be door prizes as well as food provided by a high school organization.
