Kristen Waite of Turner presented the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston with the donations from her “horse riding birthday party” on Sept. 4. Kristen, a student at the Turner Primary School, celebrated her 8th birthday. In lieu of gifts, guests brought pet food, treats and more than $100 to donate to the shelter.
