NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Susan E. Morrison Palmer, 43, of North Andover, Mass., died Saturday, Oct. 27.

She was born in Portland, April 15, 1964, the daughter of George and Ida “Knapp” Morrison. She was a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, Class of 1982, and McGill University in Canada 1986. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

She married Mark Palmer on Oct. 4, 1991. She was a software engineer with Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), Object Design, MRC Partners and Sun Microsystems in Massachusetts. She was very active with the AFS, a foreign exchange student program and volunteering for hospice.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mark Palmer; children, Jack Palmer and Ruby Palmer; mother, Ida Knapp Morrison of Limington; brother, George Morrison Jr. of Limerick; and nieces and nephews.
