Seven candidates are running unopposed for two-year terms on the Auburn School Committee. They are:

For two at-large seats: Incumbent David H. Das, 51, a study-abroad adviser at Bates College, and Francois Richard Bussiere, 67, a retiree and political newcomer;

For Ward 1: Incumbent Lane I. Feldman, 34, classifications director at the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department;

For Ward 2: Incumbent Bonnie J. Hayes, 59, a marketing representative for Tower Insurance;

For Ward 3: Incumbent Thomas M. Kendall, 57, self-employed, BART Race Services, competitive event timing and results service;

For Ward 4: Jason Pawlina, 30, a market research analyst for Christiansen Capital Advisors in New Gloucester and a political newcomer;

For Ward 5: Lawrence R. Pelletier, 60, store manager at Maine Oxy Welding Supply.
