I’m asking the people of Lewiston to re-elect Stavros Mendros to the Ward 1 council seat.

This summer, when my family faced terrible hardships, and my two younger brothers and I faced being homeless, we contacted Mendros. He connected us with the proper state authorities and helped us with our paperwork.

Thanks to his efforts, I am back in school, on the honor roll and preparing for college. Unlike most politicians who talk about caring for youth, Mendros stepped up and made a real difference in our lives.

I am too young to vote, so I am asking for help to re-elect Stavros Mendros. I know first hand how committed he is to helping young people succeed, and to helping people and bettering our community.

If people care about youth and prefer action to words, Mendros deserves their vote.
