CANTON – Roxie V. Donahue, 89, of Grove Avenue, Rumford, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Victorian Villa.

She was born in Rumford on May 30, 1918, a daughter of Lynn and Lovina (Bisson) Lowell and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1936.

She enjoyed reading, music, playing the piano and spending time with her family and pets. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She was married in Rumford on Dec. 24, 1941 to Robert A. Donahue, who died March 23, 1984.

Survivors include daughters, Carol Donahue of Rumford, Shirley Arsenault and husband, Benny, of Rumford, Sheila Turbide and husband, Ernie, of Auburn and Karen Murphy and husband, Gordon, of Rumford; and grandchildren, Kristy, Jason and Laura Murphy of Rumford.

The family would like to thank Victorian Villa and staff for their wonderful care and time they spent with Roxie.
