MONMOUTH – The Golden Years Club will meet Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Packard Activity Center (United Church basement) for a noon potluck luncheon.
Anyone who wishes to have their blood pressure taken is asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Plans will be made for the club’s Christmas dinner to be held at the December meeting.
Nurses to meet
LEWISTON – The CMGH-CMMC School of Nursing Alumni Association will meet on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the School of Nursing, 70 Middle St.
A potluck supper will be held at 6 p.m. Those planning to attend may arrive from 5:30 to 6 p.m. A business meeting will follow. All members and area nurses are invited. For more information, call 783-4322.
To confer degree
WALES – Webster Lodge 164, AF and AM, will hold a special communication on Thursday, Nov. 8, to confer the Entered Apprentice Degree on a new candidate. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the lodge hall located at 322 Centre Road.
At 6:30, prior to the meeting, the lodge will have a casserole supper in the dining hall.
All members and regular Masons are invited.
Martel Chapter
LEWISTON – Martel Chapter, Association Canado-Americaine, will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Frye School Retirement Home hall, 145 Ash St., rear entrance.
President Cecile Paradis will discuss holiday programs. At noon, prior to the meeting, an optional meal will be offered to members and officers.
Society program
MINOT – The Minot Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Minot Town Office, 329 Woodman Hill Road.
The program topic will be “Remembering Roland Maheux and his Airport.” Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.
