LEWISTON – Laura M. Williams, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 1, at Russell Park Manor.

She was born in Berlin, N.H., Jan. 6, 1918, the daughter of John and Pearl (Brideau) Martin. She had worked in the shoe manufacturing industry for many years.

She is survived by a son, David Williams of Poland Spring; two sisters, Hazel Travers of Auburn and Frances DuGay of California; a brother, Donald Martin of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Eric Williams, Shannon Williams, Elizabeth Williams and Jessica Williams; one great-grandson, Travor Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Williams.
