Teens are greatly represented as lazy and violent. While this is true of many teens is is not true of all. Many teens care about their environment and their peers. I believe that if adults would stop thinking on categorical and stereotypical terms about teens, they would find their teenage children more willing to respond to their parents encouragement. People the age of about 10 or 11 and up actually have very insightful views to the world around them. I talk to my friends and realize that most of the stereotypes about teens and pre-teens are completely wrong.
