Dirigo High School of Dixfield celebrated Maine Recycles Week at the monthly student assembly. River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition Director Patty Duguay spoke about the cost savings, environmentally and economically, by recycling paper. Classrooms will received plastic recycling bins for paper, and the district is increasing recycling efforts in all of its buildings. The bins were purchased through a collaborative effort between SAD 21, Northern Oxford Solid Waste Board and the coalition.
