RUMFORD – Funeral services for Dorothy Jane Bennett of Rumford was conducted Friday at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford, with the Rev. David Zamboni officiating. Music selections included “In The Garden,” “The Prayer,” by Andrea Bocelli and “You Raise Me Up,” by Josh Groban. Special music “Danny Boy” was sung by Tammy Schmersal. Words of remembrance were given by Steven Bennett, Deirdra Gallant, Scott Grassette and Mary Duchesne. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta. A reception followed the services at the Rumford Baptist Church.
