AUBURN – Lorenza C. Dallaire, 87, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, and formerly of 280 South Ave., Lewiston died, Sunday, Nov. 11, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility, after a long illness.

She was born in Grand Isle on Jan. 28, 1920, the daughter of George and Sophie (Hebert) Dubois and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed in the local shoe industry as a top stitcher for many years. She married Armand L. Dallaire on May 6, 1947, and he died on Sept. 10, 2005. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

She loved to garden, read and most of all loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Dallaire and his wife, Lorraine, of Lewiston and Julien Dallaire and his wife, Susan Clements Dallaire, of Lewiston; two daughters, Constance Bennett and her husband, Frank, of Topsham and Gloria Landry and her husband, Claude, of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by seven brothers; and six sisters.
