AUBURN – Louis LeBlanc, 88, of 1 Warren Ave., Lewiston, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Hospice House after a brief illness.
He was born in Jay on July 7, 1919, the son of Edward and Marie Louise Ouellette White. He moved to Lewiston at a young age and was educated in local schools. He was a combat veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater.
After his service, he was married to the former Alli Alothar, who passed away in 1986. Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years at the Oxford Paper Mill. A life-long traditional Roman Catholic, he is survived by two sons, Edward and wife, Sue, of Buxton and Louis and wife, Anne Marie, of Watertown, Mass.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
