RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Roger M. Favre was celebrated Friday at St. Athanasius-St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” ” Amazing Grace,” “Because the Lord is My Shepard” and “French Hymn.” Readings were done by Barbara Doherty. Pallbearers were Steve Jaworski, Steve Gallant, Ross Swain, Dan Faucon, Tim Giasson and Mark Dow. Interment with military honors was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home.
