LEWISTON – Jeanne Benton of Auburn and Robert Benton of Turner are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Benton of Lewiston, to Daran Noonan of Lewiston, son of Janet and Fred Bishop of Auburn and the late James Noonan.

Miss Benton is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., where she received a bachelor’s degree in printing management. She is employed as a senior production designer at The VIA Group in Portland.

Mr. Noonan is a 1994 graduate of Edward Little High School and is a self-employed facilities engineer for a residential housing complex.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
