MINOT – Announcement is made of the engagement of Tarsha Downing and Owen Theriault, both of Minot.

Miss Downing is the daughter of Bruce Downing of Minot and Brenda Soule of Yarmouth. She is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is currently working on her master’s degree in leadership studies at the University of Southern Maine.

Mr. Theriault is the son of Allen and Judy Theriault of Minot. He is a 1999 graduate of Hebron Academy and plans to graduate in May from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a doctorate degree in pharmacy. He is currently doing a year of clinical rotations at various pharmacies around Maine.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 8 at the East Auburn Baptist Church, with a reception to be held at Greenwood Mountain Inn in Hebron.
