Auburn DeMolay chapter installs officers

AUBURN – The Knights of the Sun Chapter, Order of DeMolay for Boys, recently held installation of officers at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. Installed as master councilor was Andrew Cotterly of Poland Spring.

Other officers installed were: senior councilor, Steven Farrington; junior councilor, Samuel Goldsberry; senior/junior steward, Shaughn Little; chaplain/marshal, Benjamin Weisner; and junior deacon, Michael Kelley.

Serving as installing officer was Benjamin Weisner; installing senior councilor, Dana W. Ryder; installing senior deacon, Steven Farrington; installing marshal, Jeremy Harmon; installing chaplain, Noah Bussiere; and organist-mum, Debbie Greim, Lewiston Rainbow Assembly.

DeMolay is dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful, happy and productive lives. DeMolay, for young men age 12 to 21, develops civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills.

The Knights of the Sun Chapter meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St.
