Once a month the children of the church collect an offering from those honoring that month’s birthdays or anniversaries. The amount collected goes into a fund to benefit Heifer International, which buys farm animals for developing countries. At the Nov. 18 worship service the children decided that this year’s fund should be used to give a llama for Christmas.

Church members will make wreaths Sunday, Nov. 25, following the morning worship service and will hang wreaths and greens to prepare for the coming Advent season.
