The Lewiston Middle School has many activities, like sports, yearbook committee, a civil rights team, even a drama club.
Drama club is a club for kids who love to perform. There are two opportunities to be in drama club. One is the nonmusical that does a performance in January, and the other performance for kids who like to sing is in May.
Drama Club is open to all kids who go to LMS. It isn’t just for actors; it can be for kids that like to be backstage as well. People who don’t want to act can help the production by learning to sew, make costumes, and even work with lights. The kids will also have fun and make new friends. If you have a passion for acting, or just want to make new friends, join the LMS drama club.
The drama club is directed by Celise Murphy. Mrs. Murphy has directed over 20 plays at LMS, so she knows what she is doing.
The LMS drama club will start around the first week in November. There will be two performances, one in the winter and one in the spring.
