LISBON FALLS – Irene W.M. Barschdorf, 86, of 36 Addison St., Lisbon Falls, passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, Nov. 18, of natural causes.

She was born June 18, 1921, the daughter of George H. and Christine Mae Morse and attended Lisbon schools. On May 29, 1943, she married Wallace L. Barschdorf in Lisbon Falls.

She loved to knit, crochet, paint, bake, garden, cook, do word find puzzles, celebrate holidays, read, enjoy nature and share life with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of more than 64 years, Wallace L. Barschdorf; along with three sons, Neil W. Barschdorf and his companion, Rose, of Plymouth, Dana O. Barschdorf of Edgecomb and Walter E. Barschdorf and his wife, Gayle, of Pownal; her brother, Wilbur Morse and his wife, Loanne, of Durham; her sister, Helen Prosser and her husband, Carol, of South China; her sister-in-law, Lorraine Morse of Lisbon Falls; her seven grandchildren, Leanne Nichols, Darrin Barschdorf, Heidi Lacascio, Jason Barschdorf, Jennifer Barschdorf, Jill Barschdorf and Jayme Barschdorf; along with two great-grandchildren, Tyler Lacascio and Margaret Mae Nichols. Many other dear friends and family will also cherish the memories of the time they shared during her life.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Dwight Morse; and two sisters, Lucille Duffy and Alberta Lidback.
