AUBURN – Cecile M. Dagneau, 79, of Sabattus, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston on March 1, 1928, the daughter of the late John Fortin and Veronique Veilleux. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married to Albert T. Dagneau on June 4, 1949.

She had been employed at Androscoggin and Bates Mills, and later at Arrow-Hart and Raytheon Electronics, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed watching television and making crafts, especially latch-hooking.

She is survived by her husband of Sabattus; and two sisters, Annette Goulet of Lewiston and Mary Lafrance of Auburn.
