Auburn – Sandra Marie Herrick, 49, of Mechanic Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 22, at the Hospice House on Stetson Road in Auburn.

She was born in Norway on Oct. 29, 1958, the daughter of Albert and Marie Gilliam Herrick. She was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and attended the University of Maine. She worked at DeCoster Egg Farms in Turner. She was also on the Block Grant committee in Mechanic Falls. She enjoyed sewing and playing the guitar and piano.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle McCollister of Mechanic Falls; sons, Mark McCollister of Sumner and Matthew and wife, Jessica Herrick, of Mechanic Falls; two brothers, Stanley and wife, Shari Herrick, of West Paris and Lewis and wife, Judy Herrick, of West Paris; two sisters, Pam Ovitt of Vermont and Hazel Herrick of Phippsburg; and three grandchildren, Trevor and Octavia Herrick and Gage Carlton.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a son, Michael McCollister.
