In the wake of the death of Adam Beggs, I was grateful for the Auburn Public Library and Tri-County Mental Health taking the initiative to provide grief counseling to Adam’s friends.
The Auburn Public Library provided the space and the invitation to young members of our community grieving this tragic loss. Tri-County Mental Health provided counselors. Twenty of Adam’s friends showed up to give voice to their concerns and share their feelings of grief. The dedicated staff at the Auburn Public Library responded to a need in our community with information and caring.
Our library deserves credit, and our further support.
