The city of Auburn looks for a city manager. Auburn, by write-in ballot, re-elects John Jenkins again for mayor. He accepts on condition he has to scale back, in order to make a living. The new city administrator must have a degree, among other qualifications. Jenkins was mayor of both cities, Lewiston and Auburn.
Don’t the citizens see that Jenkins should be offered or considered for the $100,000 job? What is wrong here?
Jenkins needs to make a living and has unpolitical qualities. Give him the consideration he deserves and keep him motivated here, where he has decided to live. Not in New Jersey – he has put roots down in L-A.
I have been acquainted with Jenkins in scouting and the Area Agency of Aging for years.
Jenkins for manager of Auburn! He deserves it for all his good works.
