FARMINGTON – Photos of Santa and people’s pets will be taken from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

The photos are taken, developed and enclosed in a Christmas card at the shelter, said manager Patty Lovell. Shelter staff take the photos for $10, or $5 for those who also bring an animal toy, she said, with proceeds benefiting the shelter.
