AUBURN – A funeral Mass for Jules Rodrigue was celebrated on Thursday at Sacred Heart Church after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Murray celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Lewiston Public Works and Water Department lined a portion of the funeral route with employees and equipment to pay tribute in honor of the Rodrigue family. During Mass the readings were read by Melissa Lindsey and Crystal Hayes. The prayer of the faithful was read by Amanda Dubois and Laurie Rodrigue. The offertory was brought to the altar by Dan and Sue Rodrigue, Ashely Dubois, Mackenzie Rodrigue and Ann Barriault. At the conclusion of Mass words of remembrance were expressed by Matthew Rodrigue. Pallbearers were Eric Barriault, Matthew Rodrigue, Nate Hayes, Tony Lindsey, Nelson Dubois and Ray Barriault. A reception of fellowship was held at the Chickadee Restaurant after the committal services at the cemetery.
