JAY – Norma Angela King Lucarelli, 86, of Jay, died in the early morning hours of Thursday, Nov. 29, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Livermore Falls, a daughter of Bert A. and Mary C. (Stenberg) King. She was a graduate of Jay High School and on Sept. 12, 1964, married Olindo Lucarelli Sr. in Portland. He died Dec. 4, 1981 at their home in Jay.

She retired after 36 years of service from International Paper Co. at the Otis and Androscoggin mills. She attended the Jay Baptist Church and was a member of the International Paper Co. Quarter Century Club, the New Norlands Grange, the Livermore Falls – Jay Senior Citizens, the Canton Senior Citizens, the Rebekahs, the Retired Senior Volunteers Program, the Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society.

She was a humble person who was always thoughtful about the needs of others.

She is survived by her great-niece, whom she and her sister, Evie proudly raised, Tammy M. Hall-Eldredge and her husband, Will, and their daughter, Christine, all of Merrimack, N.H.; a brother, Norman S. King and his wife, Mary, of Livermore Falls; stepson, Olindo Lucarelli, Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Jay; and special nieces, Valerie Bernard of Jay, Carol Hall-Walker of Cranston, R.I., and Kay King Watson of Livermore.

She was also predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn M. King and Hazel Tweedie.
