Am I the only reader who is bored and annoyed with Thomas F. Shields’ frequent letters?

They’re all the same: “Bad Democrats,” “Democrats’ fault, blah, blah,” “Democrats are evil, blah, blah, blah.” “The Democrats did it, blah, blah, blah.” “It’s all their fault, blah, blah, blah.” “Democrats are wrecking the country, blah, blah, blah.” “Democrats have destroyed Maine, blah, blah, blah.”

How is this hate-mongering helpful for Maine or the United States?

Whatever happened to calm, reasonable people with opposing views making compromises and working together without name-calling and insults?
