It’s a sorry state of affairs when the country sends men and women to war and, God forbid, they are wounded and disabled, only to return and then are asked to return the remainder of their signing bonuses because they were not able to fulfill their full obligation.
What has this nation become? Officials pin the Purple Heart on those wounded heroes with one hand while picking their back pocket with the other.
I cannot believe there is such a disconnect between the Pentagon and the current administration. I would think that top officials were working together, or are they?
